Sex, not botox, can make you look good: Joan Collins

London, August 24 (ANI): Hollywood icon Joan Collins has revealed that it is not botox, but sex, that can make one feel and look good.

"It really distresses me to see so many ghastly Botoxed and artificially filled faces. Many of these women, quite a few of them actresses, look so strange with their pillow lips, puffed-up cheeks and fake cheekbones, which make their eyes look like tiny pits in a marshmallow cloud," she told the Daily Mail.

"And there are still no absolute guarantees that these procedures are not harmful.

"And let's not forget the importance of sex when it comes to looking and feeling good.

"Many of the world's most celebrated women have been sexually active well into middle age and beyond.

"The great French actress, Sarah Bernhardt, and the legendary designer, Coco Chanel, both had lovers well into their later lives.

"Catherine the Great was reputed to have taken younger lovers to bed. Mae West, who lived to 90, had a live-in lover 45 years younger than she was.

She also slams so-called miracle creams, liposuctions and "glue on extensions" which she says, just goes on to show insecure women's "obsession with youth".

"It's a billion-pound con foisted on insecure women by canny big-business conglomerates," she said (ANI)
