Mercury in the Fourth House

Mercury in the fourth denotes changes of residence, worry and anxiety concerning home and domestic affairs, and great difficulty in settling or avoiding frequent disturbance. If afflicted by : Uranus, mental distress and strange change of fortune with much difficulty in remaining for any length of time in one place ; Saturn, thefts and frauds ; Mars, the victim of sharp practice and treachery. If in good aspect to: Uranus, denotes a considerable expansion of consciousness toward the close of life ; Saturn, considerably steadies the tendency to change, and brings gain from parents ; The Sun or The Moon, lessens the tendency to adverse change, and promises the retention of the mental faculties at the close of life. It indicates ability that lacks opportunity, but if Jupiter is in good aspect with Mercury then opportunity comes at the end.
